Bullous pemphigoid is a medical term used to define a skin disorder which is characterized by large blisters.

Bullous Pemphigoid Symptoms

  • Intense itching
  • Burning sensation of the skin
  • When the mucous membranes of the mouth are affected, it can cause pain
  • Burning of mouth
  • Sensitivity to acidic foods
  • Difficulty eating
  • Coughing
  • Nosebleeds when inner nose is involved
  • Mouth sores
  • Bleeding gums
  • Rashes on the skin
  • Ulcers
  • Open sores
